Me, Marcus, Eli & Emmy with his Grandpa Phil and Nona.
We decided last Sunday to drive the 15 hours north to go spend some time with Marcus' grandparents. And while we spent 4 days total driving and only 2 hours visiting with family it was worth the effort.
I don't think that anyone can ever regret time spent with family. Especially, since it's been 5 years since we've last seen them. I know it meant a lot to Marcus to have his grandparents meet his kids.
Plus, Eli and Emerson loved all of their great grandparents, great aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Now we're home and in recovery mode. Until I leave again on Wednesday for a wedding in CT.
I'm linking up with the meme Saturday Snapshot hosted by At Home with Books here.

Family really is important. I'm sure they appreciated the effort you made in getting to see them. That is a long time in the car with small children!
Time spent with family is always well worth it...
Here is my Saturday Snapshot post!
great times, enjoy your wedding.
Oh, I love mult-generational pictures. What a great family!
I'm running late on posting this week...but I have a really good reason.
