Things to post...

I actually have posts and pictures but I just haven't had the energy to do it as of late.

I'm exhausted and my Crohn's isn't being very nice to me at the moment (I'm pretty sure it's all related).

So in the meantime here are some more random things my children have said:

~Emmy recently decided she wanted both her fingers and toes painted. So I obliged (I have no idea where she gets this stuff I don't paint my toenails or fingernails). She was very pleased and went along her away.

Yesterday, when she was in the living room and I was in the next room I hear a loud "OH MAN" and then she comes running to me. She chipped the paint on one of her nails and this was a tragedy of epic proportion. I had to touch them up immediately.

Eli also has his nails and toes painted and he proudly shows everyone he sees. The reactions have all been really kind (people can get so weird about that kind of thing).

This morning she woke me up concerned because her toenails had chipped. I told her to tell her dad but he didn't understand the concern so we retouched her toes this morning. Seriously, where did she come from?

~ The other day I was driving to town and Emmy out of nowhere says, "mama I'm very pretty"

~I curled Emerson's hair for the first time today and when she looked at it in the mirror she freaked out and started yelling, "Take it off, take it off! I had no idea it would be so traumatic for her.

~ Eli continues to try and be sneaky. He loves to try and steal drinks of my soda. For some reason he thinks if he moves really slowly I can't see what he's doing.

~ He also hides things behind his back and is pretty sure we won't catch on to what he's doing.

~ He loves fruit snacks and I told him he couldn't have any more for the day. I left the room and returned to find that he dragged a chair over to the counter, climbed up took a fruit snack, found scissors and opened them. He was pretty please with himself, I was not amused.

~ For their birthdays they got leap pads. Depending on the moment they call it, their iPod, computer, or phone. Kids these days and their technology.

I'm off to bed. I hope to have a real post soon.

I feel the same way when my polish chips.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling your best. Prayers for an ease to the pain.

Isn't it funny how they are their own people? (like the fingernails. LOL)
